Let’s say you’re a cleric of a minor god of beer. —Not wine, not vodka, not sake, but beer. (Mead is also acceptable.)

What are your domain spells? I’m open to all official 3.5 and Pathfinder sources.

Purify Food and Drink - Clean Water is important.
Plant Growth, need high yields for your barley and hops.

Pathfinder has an Enhance Water (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/e/enhance-water/) spell that turns water into some spirit of your choice.

Neutralize poison, for all those pesky hangovers

In pathfinder, create water can make beer if you worship a certain deity. A beer domain should give such an ability.

Prestidigitation makes every bartender a minor deity, and is good to make a nice cold glass or cool your beer even if hot. Also can change the flavor profile.

Polypurpose panacea does not make beer, but it can get you buzzed.

Enhance water turns liquid into beer, and tears to wine makes mead. The latter being better and it provides mechanical bonuses and makes an absurd quantity of booze. Pathfinder also has the spells drunkard's breath, freedom's toast, and ferment that are all specific to Caydean Caliean worshipers.

Can we re-fluff Eyebite as "bestow hangover" for these purposes?

Perhaps also Stinking Cloud as a representation of some of the unfortunate olfactory aftereffects as well?

1 Remove Fear (the famous Dutch courage) or Ray of Clumsiness
2 False Life
3 Rage
4 Horrid Sickness
5 Crown of Courage (for a stronger effect) or maybe Incite Riot
6 Overwhelm
7 Empyreal Ecstasy
8 Waves of Exhaustion or maybe Scintillating Pattern
9 Feast of Champions (beer only) or perhaps Sublime Revelry (basically stronger empyreal ecstasy)

These are all excellent, thanks.

I’m really looking for spells that focus on beer or drinking, with the Cayden Cailean spells as perfect examples.

I'm sure there's a spell or two from Portable Hole Full of Beer that would fit. (At work, so can't check for sure).

from the Drunken Master Class feature: Drink like a demon

Drink Like a Demon (Ex): A drunken master’s body handles alcohol differently from other people’s. He can drink a large tankard of ale, a bottle of wine, or a corresponding amount of stronger alcohol as a move action. Every bottle or tankard of alcohol he consumes during combat reduces his Wisdom and Intelligence by 2 points each, but increases his Strength or Constitution (character’s choice) by 2 points. A drunken master may benefit from a number of drinks equal to his class level. The duration of both the penalty and the bonus is a number of rounds equal to the character’s drunken master level + 3.

except of course this is changed to Beer or Meade, rather then stronger spirits or Wine. Pesky wine gods always getting in the way.

any way instead of lowering wisdom change it to Charisma instead. this way your beer cleric can still fling spells while he is hammered.

The drunken master is presumably a monk who relies heavily on Wisdom for AC and DCs of his monkish abilities (like Stunning Fist).

Endurance as a bonus feat (it's a horrible feat, but a lot of stuff needs it for reqs), along with a +4 bonus on all ingested poisons?

The spells that I recognize are all excellent choices.

False Life is an inspired choice, given the material component.

This pun deserves greater recognition for its sheer awful majesty. I raise my glass in your honour.

+1 to the heroes' feast and false life.

I could add about a hundred suggestions, but only a couple really stand out. Celebration and beastland ferocity in Spell Compendium, spread of contentment and empyreal ecstasy/sublime revelry and heart's ease in Book of Exalted Deeds. In general I found bard spells to be a better fit than other classes'.

In the middle of this I had an idea... And it was good.

A whole prestige class for the cleric.

Symposiarch
(A toast master, someone who leads a symposium [A greek drinking party where philosophy is discussed.])

*10 levels, requires beer domain(Or other alcohol related domains) and as a prerequisite.
*Add bard spell list to Primary spellcasting class; Full caster progression. Bard skills as class skills.
*If class has access to turn undead, it is sacrificed when taking the first level of Symposiarch.
* If symposiarch takes levels in bard, it can no longer take levels in symposiarch, and loses all class features it earned.

1.bardic music/ bardic knowledge /Inspire courage(Bonus inproves every 3 levels) /countersong

2. Spontaneous domain casting: Beer Domain (Replaces any other spontaneous casting)/
Sapere Aude (Gain metamagic song and lyric spell regardless of prerequisites)

3.Inspire competence

4. Inebriated enlightenment (For every tankard of ale symposiarch drinks, Physical scores go down, and mental scores go up by 1/ OR Gain one use of bardic music Per 2 tankards.)

5. suggestion

6. Inspire Greatness

7.Inspire Heroics

8. Song of freedom

9. At will Purify Food & Water

10. My Cup Runneth over (Can spend uses of Bardic music to make a potion of any spell they can cast up to 3rd level. One use of Bardic music per spell level.)

Homebrew, yeah but it would be cool.
Definitely thinking more Dionysian when I came up with it, but it works anyway.
Would fluff as party god philosopher, who has the ability to get more and more cosmopolitan and sagacious as he drinks, but gets ever closer to leaving this world behind the further he goes. Also weaves totally awesome stories and sings awesome drinking songs and can hide his spells behind them.

Somewhere between Socrates, a frat bro, and Jim Lahey.

How about the Durkon's Bless Beer?

Also, since Warcraft have Alementals (http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Alemental) - maybe something like "Summon Beer Elemental"?
