How would a creature with no base land speed get one? I know of the spell fins to feet and shapechanging, but is there anything else?

Anyone? Or are there just no other ways?

There may be something specific for the race you have in mind, what do you plan on using this for?

Could you explain a little on how you got into a form that doesn't have a land speed?

Two Fast Leg Fiendish Grafts would give you a speed of 10 ft each, for only 4000 gp a pop.

Take a class that gives access to alter self, polymorph, or wildshape?

Edit: just saw the reference to shapechanging in the OP. Never mind.

amphibious template?

Aphibious template adds a swim speed. It doesn't usually work the other way around.

But the Pathfinder version of Amphibious (Child of Two Worlds (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/story-feats/child-of-two-worlds-story) -- a Story Feat you take a first level) would get you a 10 ft land speed.

Requires you to have a land-dwelling and a water-dwelling parent, though. and to be accepted by the other parents community.

Edit: I misread. Being accepted by the other parent's community gets you air breathing and a 30 ft land speed (swift action switching from fins to feet at will). The basic feat gets the 10 ft land speed.
