So this thread is a large amount of crunch for my homebrew setting, from gear, classes, famous npcs, gods, and most importantly my creepy crawlies. Note one of my major goals is replacing varying archetypal monster with similar role filling creatures with a very different flavor. This setting is rather high intensity due to my most common group being veteran 3.5 players who are well half actor and half dedicated power player is the party mindset. Any feed back is welcome, and tallyhow.

Mankinds Claws and their substance.

Obsidian standard,
Fragile quality but add 1 to crit range.
slashing or piercing weapons only,
Obsidian bashing weapons are fragile as well, but leave splinters in foes dealing 1 bleed damage, dc 15 heal check fixes.

Bone
gain fragile quality, knock 10 bronze(replacing gold) of the price.

Ogre Crafted,
increase price by 1,500 bronze but add +2 to hit with these weapons. not magical bonus.
(this is presuming Iron weapons)
Masterwork an extra 500, adds to damage as well.

Blood Stone or Ogre Obsidian
Inherent +1, counts as a size category larger for damage.
+5,000 bronze or 500 Iron. Is always ogre crafted masterwork.

Setting weapons and pathfinderaztion of dark sun weapons.
Wrist Razor Martial Light Blade Monk. slashing
cost 2 bronze, 1d6 damage, 19-20x2
three forward facing claws, granting a man the wrath of a beast.

Maul
two handed exotic
2d8 20/x2 bludgeoning
special add twice your strength not 1 1/2.
a large stone or metal hammer meant to smash flesh and chitin asunder. requires expert skill to utilize effectively.

Chicken Blades
one handed light exotic blades
1d8 slashing 19-20/x2
attached quality.
these blades strapped to the forearm and curving backwards past the elbow are infamous for their destructive use by certain tribesmen particularly due to them leaving the users hands free for a bow and a set are the envy of any arena.
(cost 50 bronze and rare as lesser magic items.)

Feats
Moon Mad,
First level only,
add ones wisdom bonus to rounds of rage a day, may take improved natural attack for any rage power gained claws or bite.

Blessed of Baal
first level or upon gaining divine spell casting from Baal,
reduce the spell level modifier of empower by one.

Bad Blood,
Ranger required
you may select a tribe or nation just as a dandy might instead of the usual form of favored enemy.

next post will be the first set of critters

Bugnomicon Entry 1: Snappers

These large robust insects are on average about six feet long weigh around 150 pounds. Their large pincer topped tail and the sound it produces earns them their name, often living in small colonies of five or six members, amidst fallen foliage of the forests they call home. Though they have been known to encroach on the edge of settlements especially in dry season.

An offshoot of the Recluse progenum, Skitter has moved away from the standard eight legged central form, and through his personal line of adaptions and divine heritage arrived at a form resembling something more along the lines of a giant centipede. His brood has followed suit if this branch manages to spread and take root in a few more centuries Eden will have a new progeny on its hands. Indeed though they resemble giant centipedes mistaking one of this breed of spiderkin for mere vermin is liable to be a fatal mistake on the part of an adventuring band. Skitter himself is rather young as fathers of broods go, indeed he is only around a thousand years old give or take a century or two, thus he lacks the upper limits of spiderkin spell casting or size. To prevent his own death he has taken up acting as a totem/avatar of his lord father to a sizable bug cult in the Salt Valleys region. Spreading his brood slowly into the northern expanse for the last half millennia. Though all but the eldest have kept the salt valleys and surrounding forest. He has also struck up an alliances with three other powers to solidify his domain, The Lord Warden of Curthoff Anthony Curthoff, has long used Skitters bug cults to instill fear into the populous and as justification for his own iron rain. This has lead to a beneficial relationship between the two the warden informs skitter of ill protected villages for his cultists to raid, and Curthoff looses enemies while gaining support. Numerous bandit clans have fallen under the rule of skitters son Andrichas who while a half breed is just as wily as his father. While not the least has been his beloved mate Aster and her coven.

Gaunt is not quite the eldest of his fathers sons but is perhaps the most learned and devout, serving Trelmarixian the horsemen of famine as his divine master. He regularly utilizes planar ally to conjure forth daemons within its limited scope to serve him, he delights in self consumption and using autocannibalism on foes in combat to force such actions. Indeed cannibal tribsmen also serve as his more mortal escort. His lord father allows his son much freedom in these things as Gaunt knows betters then to disobey his brood father but longs for the day he is strong enough to do so. He does deeply love his mother Aster and will arrive at her side to defend her at a moments notice, should she call for him. He is currently entrusted with the northern contingent of his fathers forces. He in physicality is a massive chalk white centipede measuring thirty feet long and a full five feet wide, much of his chitin bears innumerable battle scars, and warped flesh as cancerous growths writhe about his form and knit together and damage inflicted upon him. Indeed upon death Gaunt very well might rise as a unique daemon loyal to Trelmarixian or he very well might finally discover a way to engineer his own apotheosis into a harbinger though far from the mark he currently is.

The Chorister Progenum stand in a strange place amidst spider kind, a brood of trickster and shape thieves. Innate spell casting is a common trait right alongside a maliciously playful disposition. The progenum most likely to create half breeds and most likely to live amidst the lesser races directly. Often taking up disguise and living among their pray for years or decades. As their dietary needs are the least severe this life style often suits them just fine, especially for its excess to library's and magic users for them to pick the brains of sometimes quite literally. A innate adoration of song and music lives in their veins and if they were inclined to spare any mortal being it would be Bards, indeed several ballads of a Chorister Maiden falling into love with a bard are known though all end in most horrific and grotesque tragedy. Their Proginter is credited with being Sharazad the Star Gazer, a being of immense power and the one to gift his progeny with their innate knack to access outer night. His nest is said to rest somewhere amidst fallen Droit, Still gazing up from atop ancient towers.

CR 9~

The Deadly Siren of Cascara as she is known, has barely reached her hundredth birthday but has already fashioned herself a small hold fast in the southern coast, in the small town of Hollow Mill, she keeps a tavern with her thralls serving as the staff, mostly a rabble of passers through of varying low levels, (16 hit dice to spend on 2nd to 4th level thralls,) along with her Issac Carrows Sixth level Executioner Slayer and his sister Julia Carrows a 6th level Gravewalker witch, her two prized thralls. A pair of NE Twins that she captured long ago and fostered talents for half a decade to provide her self with much needed tools, especially to experiment with necromancy. This has lead to the basement of the inn turning leading into the near by mines where the spider has her thralls to conduct experiments into unlife and prepare her favorite meals. This has also led to a host of half spider spawn, Three in number so far, Amog Orc Half Spider 3rd level Warpriest of Xhamen-Dor , Casull Half Elf half spider 6th level Bard, and her eldest child Dantalion human half spider 8th level Fear Eater Direlock. Serving as her unthralled minions, a number of undead have been placed under each of their commands. Her current aspiration is merely to test the ability for her own kind to arise as undead and hopes to one day perhaps raise her slain fathers shell as a minion. She leaves her reaming hitdie open awaiting new thralls. (12 hit dice) She herself hates the conception of becoming undead and loosing the pleasures of the flesh.
