Me and my friends were discussing casting options for an OotS live action movie and we came up with the following.

Now considering that all the characters and script/plot would remain loyal to the comic what would you think of the following cast:

Will Smith-Roy
Wynona(sp?) Ryder-Varsuvius(sp?)
Guy who played Gimli-Durkon
Wee-Man from Jackass-Belkar
Brad Pitt-Elan
Anthony Hopkins-Old guy who ran azure city
Spider-man's whiney girlfriend from the movies-Haley
Jim Carey-Xykon
Halli Berri-Succubi chick
Memoirs of a Geisha chick-Miko

Who would you pick to play who? Who would you want to direct it?

Over the last few months or so, I've begun to hear James Woods' voice as Xykon speaks. He's certainly a locquacious villain, which would fit Woods' quick-fire delivery. Plus I <3 James Woods.

I'd like to second the guy who said you should die horribly. With all due respect of course.

:roy: Andre Braugher

:haley: Leelee Sobieski

:elan: / :nale: Eric Johnson (the new Flash Gordon)

:durkon: Billy Connolly

:vaarsuvius: Johnny Depp

:belkar: Vin Diesel or Richard "Mack" Machowitz from "FutureWeapons"

:sabine: Beyonce Knowles

:thog: Adam Baldwin

:xykon: CGI, voice of Jeremy Kemp

:redcloak: CGI, voice of Gilbert Gottfried

:mitd: Voice of Will Ferrell

:miko: Zhang Ziyi

Eugene Greenhilt: Eddie Murphy, with the same kind of makeup and hair he used when playing Sherman Klump's dad, minus the fat suit.

Hinjo: Daniel Dae Kim

Lord Shojo: David Carradine

Samantha: Emily Browning

John Rhys-Davis as Durkon is a total freakin' cop-out.

Tilda Swinson as V is based on the misguided assumption that V is female.

Whoever voiced Khelgar in Neverwinter Nights 2 should to Durkon's voice. Classic Dwarf voice right there.
