3.x - TO - How Could a Character Know Everything?

My method is currently, aquire immortality then abuse Simulacrum, who then abuse Teleport Through Time via portals their creator provides, then somehow eat/store the Simulacrum's memories. (Shapechange into an Aboleth and eat their brains maybe?)
Rinse/repeat for all of the knowing of the things.

But I'm betting the Playground can do better, with fewer steps, and less OP magics. Any takers?

What, you need a way to get details in a way that's not scrying, because that can be blocked? Ok, here's Object Reading (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/powers/objectReading.htm).

What, you need a way to have unknowing random people inadvertently spy on people for you? Ok, Mindlink (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/powers/mindlink.htm) will do the trick.

Basically just be a Seer Psion, and either use an item that has a power in it, or make other Psion friends, and have them use Psychic Chirurgery (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/powers/psychicChirurgery.htm) on you.

Answering a question within your field of study has a DC of 10 (for really easy questions), 15 (for basic questions), or 20 to 30 (for really tough questions).

The highest knowledge DC is 30, so if you can make that consistently, you know everything which doesn't concern the identification of a creature. For that, you just need to be able to beat the highest DC for identifying printed creatures, whatever that is. There's just one problem: Deathless don't seem to be identifyable using the knowledge skills. So you can get close to knowing everything, but you still won't know much about deathless.

Divine Ability that duplicates Legend Lore for free, apparently. Also of note, however, is that you really need that list as pretty much at-wills... and you're still gimped in a dead magic zone.

CL 15 shapechange or polymorph (with Assume Supernatural Ability) into an elemental weird will give you a host of divinations as at-will free actions. Check the Monster Manual II.

Contradicted by specific rules that have bits of information that have a higher knowledge DC than 30. I think almost all of the Elder Evil checks are higher than 30, for example.

In any case, for each knowledge skill, there is some highest knowledge check that you'll need for that skill, whether it's a printed one or one you need to identify a monster. Against deathless and vecna-blooded, you'll have to resort to some other way, of course.
