Leaving the shadowfell?

Hi!

For my upcoming campaign, there is a high chance that the players will end up in the shadowfell for a while. However, I don't want the portals to be two-way, so they won't be able to come back the same way they got there.

Now, the DMG describes which places could take one to the shadowfell: dark, gloomy places, tombs etc. Which is ok, but since I don't want to have the portal two-way, what could be a place on the shadowfell that brings back to the material plane?

My understanding is that a way back to the material plane is once again in a dark corner of something, but I'm not sure I like that idea. I'd rather have the portal to the material plane 'resemble' the material plane, in the same way that a portal to the shadowfell is dark dank an gloomy as the plane itself.

So then, what could be a place on the shadowfell linking back to the world?
