View Full Version : Errata for the Initiate Feats?

I for some reason vaguely recall there being some errata or a book that changed the prerequisites of the [Initiate] feats so that Favored Souls could take them, but !@#$ed up and accidentally made them ONLY accessible to Favored Souls.
Am I just remembering a dream that I had or something, or is this a real thing?

IIRC that text is in Dragon Magic -- which means it is NOT errata, since it's in a book that you pay for, and errata are always released free of charge.
That means it's just a poorly-marked and poorly-thought-through variant rule which you can use if you want.

The relevant text can be found in Dragon Magic, page 15.
Any character of a class that must select a deity and that uses the cleric spell list for spellcasting can treat his level in that class as if it were a cleric level for the purpose of qualifying for an initiate feat.
You still need to expend spells known to pick up any spells the feat grants.
