Musical instruments count as improvised weapons, so you just need catch off guard and you are good.

In addition to Catch Off-Guard (http://www.archivesofnethys.com/FeatDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Catch%20Off-Guard) mentioned above, you'll also probably want Gloves of Improvsed Might (http://www.archivesofnethys.com/MagicWondrousDisplay.aspx?FinalName=Gloves%20of%20 Improvised%20Might1) if you want to build your character around bashing things with their guitar.

If you aren't opposed to 3pp the new Spheres of Might has several musical weapons including the War Lute, War Flute and War Drum which can all be used to smack your enemies and those who don't appreciate your music!

Use Rough and Ready (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/traits/equipment-traits/rough-and-ready/) instead of Catch Off Guard. It's a trait instead of a feat, and you get a +1 attack bonus to boot.

There's also some offbeat weapons like Totem Spears that count as instruments and weapons. You could also probably get a Bladed Scarf that doubled as a Scarf of the Suggestive Dance (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/wondrous-items/wondrous-items/r-z/scarf-of-the-suggestive-dance/).

It also encourages the GM to break your instruments though.

Just use a steel guitar then you don't have to worry about it breaking. Or just use the summon instrument cantrip for disposable guitars and be El-Kabong!
