Gestalt Chameleon//Sorcerer/MotAO

Races of Destiny introduces the Chameleon, a prestige class that can cast from a spell book, and that has a floating feat. My question is, what happens if a Chameleon takes Extra Spell as it's floating feat? Does the spell disappear from the spellbook when the day ends? Does it stay? Does the Chameleon need to make himself a scroll of it, or just pay to copy it into a spellbook?

Edit: Also, does a Mage of the Arcane Order get separate spellpool access for each spellcasting class they have?

Extra Spell might give a benefit like Spell Mastery or Mother Cyst, whereby the spell doesn't need to be in your spellbook while you have the feat -- thus it doesn't "appear" in your book, removing the need for it to "disappear" later.

Personally, I'd allow a Chameleon to prepare & use an Extra Spell spell, but not convert downtime into infinite extra spells known. The Chameleon downtime potential is already huge enough thanks to Item Creation feats -- they don't need that particular perk.

Buffs that the Chameleon class needs:
- Make Combat Focus viable.
- Make Stealth Focus viable.
- Make Wild Focus viable.
