Best paladin spell for oath of vengeance

I have a 5th level paladin of vengeance. I plan on using smites for my spell slots. But I then read about hunter's mark. Is this the best spell available or not?

It has uses. If you expect to be engaging in combat over a period of more than a minute, but less than an hour, and will not require any other concentration spell during that time, then it's pretty good.

If you need that advantage on perception and survival checks, then it's pretty good.

Otherwise it's a long period of time to have to avoid concentration checks, and if you're only using it for a single combat, then you'd probably be better off with a different spell, like bless or wrathful smite.
