I have a question, as the title suggests it's about a sword made of blackrock and the damage reduction capabilities that it has. Now in the description of blackrock it says "Additionally,
weapons forged of godsteel are considered to be adamantine, magic, and blunt, regardless of their actual shape or
level of enchantment.". So a slashing sword made of blackrock would do slashing damage and be considered blunt and it overcomes bludgeoning DR. Am I right in my logic and understanding of the rules?

Would either of the materials you mentioned happen to be from D&Dwiki?

EDIT: Huh, apparently it is from some weird 3rd-party book called Planar Metals. I'm pleasantly surprised.

Yeah, it's a nice expansion of the world and the materials that items are made of.

It would add the blunt descriptor to the damage. Slashing would become slashing/blunt and piercing would become piercing/blunt. Slashing/piercing weapons would become slashing/piercing/blunt weapons and pass any form of the three damage type dr's.
