Hi. I have a metric buttload experience with D&D 3.5, and a metric 0 of experience with Pathfinder. We already have the drunk dwarf pirate combat role taken. I want a sorcerer that makes it rain various miscellaneous items. We are starting with level 1.

I already got some quips:
"Have a seat!"
"Assume hidden dragon couching tiger stance"
"Stool me once, shame on you, Stool me twice shame on me!"
"I won't harp on this too much"
"Bedtime!"
"Help me bust up this chifferobe!"

Spell Thematics(Furniture)

I want something more substantive than that. I mean, power word alarm clock is funny, and so is ottomanbolt, but surely there's a way to swing this.

Telekinesis at higher levels is a good option.

As soon as you can fly, put large objects in a bag of holding and simply dump them on your enemies from above.

I don't know pathfinder, but I've never seen spells that drop furniture. I suppose there must be some spell equivalents of mage's hand or fluctuating disk, but at low level they can carry very little mass. I'd say your best chance is to talk with the DM and refluff/homebrew a few spells, like deciding fireball drops a large bed dealing damage in the area rather than creating a fireball that deals damage in the area.

When you get to level 8, I think it's mandatory to inflict the crude furnishings (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/coreRulebook/spells/secureShelter.html) (unfortunately no longer rude (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?479020-Optimisation-challenge-Rude-Furnishings)) on your enemies.

This is quirky/specific enough that I would also suggest Spell Thematics to reskin existing "drop stuff on enemies" spells as being your best bet.

I suppose Fabricate can turn something above them into furniture that then falls on them. Very limited in open environments, though, as well as if the ceiling is high above them.

If you're willing to go further afield for 3rd party material; iirc the Spheres of Power casting system has some options that could support that and scale somewhat:
http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/variant-magic-rules/spheres-of-power/using-the-spheres/#Creation

scroll down a couple pages from there.
haven't looked thorugh it in awhile for much more detail on feasibility than that.

Yeah, I was just about to suggest spheres of power. The creation sphere does it innately, it even has rules for the size and damage of objects created in the air above your opponents.

I know some people find the inevitable mention of it annoying, but I’ve got to echo Spheres. Even without the built-in rules for creating furniture-based spells by combining effects from Creation and other spheres, Telekinesis is its own category of magic you could specialize in to move furniture around!

Alright, I looked into it. It looks like the weather sphere, and the Creations fear, when spell crafted together, give me exactly what I need. Any advice on getting this online as soon as possible?

If you want to take a closer look as spheres of power, the d20srd is only the base set, A lot has come of it and if you want to see all of it that's out, I'd suggest looking here (http://spheresofpower.wikidot.com/).

Creation has also its handbook in playtest (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kitAB8sHgmuD3fvOMuI_KyV_dxpO2wrxQmbnCoRgglA/edit?ts=59861a7e#).
