EQ2 questions

Ok, I'm really bored of WoW right now and I am looking for a new game to play, so I am thinking about getting EQ2 because I can get the game and all the expansions really cheap but I have a few questions first.

1. How many people play EQ2?
2. How many new people are there?
3. What is the level cap?
4. How many expansions are there?
5. Finally how good is it compared to quildwars, WoW, and every other MMO on the market.

I cant help u whith ur questions, but if everquest doesnt work out you can try Archlord. A free to play game (after you buy it) where one person can become the Archlord and rule over the land. Good pvp but lacks solid quests and is a little bit of a grind. The communtiy is small but can be pretty friendly.
