I have somewhat interesting question regarding Rapid Strike and Action Surge.
For the sake of the argument ,lets say you are LVL 20 Fighter and you have 4 attacks.

You want to attack and you use bonus action and proc Fighting Spirit>Gain Advantage>Use Rapid Strike>Forgo 1 advantage-Gain 1 more attack> NOW you have 5 attacks.
Now, you use Action Surge and what happens next? Do you now have 10 attacks since AS doubles attacks you have?
OR do you have regular 8 attacks +1 RS (4 capstone + 4AS + 1 Rapid strike ) ?

I have no idea how to calculate this ?!

You can only use rapid strike once per turn so action surge would get you 4 more attacks. Action surge doesnt double the number of attacks but allows you to take an additional (main) action.

However, throw in haste and you get 10 attacks minus rapid strike, add rapid strike and add a bonus action strike...you can get 12 attacks in a turn.

And if you're dual-wielding and have advantage from another source (surprise, an ally used guiding bolt before your turn, whatever) and therefore able to take a bonus action for an offhand attack instead of fighting spirit, you can theoretically cap out at 13 attacks in a single round.

Haste doesn't call the special action a "bonus action", after all.

Is this from the UA? Or XGtE?
Beacase in the book, it looks like it'd be a solid 9 attacks at level 20.

You only get one bonus action though, so you have to choose between an offhand attack or using rapid strike. You're right about haste, though.

Action Surge does not double the number of attacks. It simply lets you take a second action on that turn. It doesn't have to be the Attack action, it could be Dash, Disengage, Dodge, etc. If you do take another Attack action, it gives you the same number of attacks you normally get with your attack action. So for a Level 20 Fighter(Samurai), the turn would go like this:

Bonus Action - Fighting Spirit for Advantage on all attacks
Action - Attack, L20 Extra Attack says when you take the attack action, you can attack 4 times, all with Advantage
Action Surge Action - Attack, again you can attack 4 times, all with Advantage
During one of those two Attack actions, you can use Rapid Strike and forego Advantage on one of those attacks for a 5th Attack which WILL be at Advantage due to Fighting Spirit. You can only do this once per turn, so you can only use it with one of your two Attack actions

So you would get nine attacks in total, eight of which are at advantage. And based on my reading of Rapid Strike, you would have to make the non-Advantage attack BEFORE the fifth attack in the Attack action, since it's the foregoing of Advantage that grants you that bonus(I don't know the official ruling on this, however).

5 from one Attack Action using Rapid Strike
4 from the other Attack Action(you can only use Rapid Strike once per turn)
1 from Haste action(the spell says if the extra Action you take is Attack, it's one attack only)
1 off-hand attack as a Bonus Action

That's 11, where do you get the other 2 attacks from?

This is correct.
