I just noticed this. Craft Wand specifies that the max level spell you can craft into a wand is 4th. Ultimate Psionics specifically tells us that crafting a dorje is handled by Craft Wand, but the specific rules given make no mention of the max power level of powers crafted into a dorje.

Does crafting dorjes work differently that wands, or am I meant to assume that only powers of level 4 or below can be put into a dorje?

Dorjes can go up to 9th-level powers if that's what you're asking. That's how they worked in 3.5 too, (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/items/dorjes.htm) so it's nothing new.

Dorjes (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/items/dorjes.htm) are priced all the way to 9th level powers, so no, there's no limit to what level of powers they can contain. They do have restrictions on manifester level an augmentation, you can only make the Dorje's manifester level five higher than the minimum to manifest the power, so nothing can be augmented by more than five power points. A wand of a 4th level spell can be made at a caster level of 20th (or whatever level the spell scales to), but a dorje of a 4th level power can only be made at up to a manifester level of 12th. Most powers take two power points at a time to augment, so it's only worthwhile to make the manifester level four higher than the minimum to use the power. Dorjes operate like wands, but they have different limitations.
