I just finished reading a series called The Iron Druid Chronicle's so my desire to play a druid is at an all time high. Though my interest in the spellcasting part of the druid is pretty minimal compared to the shapeshifting side, and even thats tempered by the fact that im not interested in turning into a dinosaur or elemental either.

That means Bearbarian is the way to go, so whats the best jumping off point of druid to barbarian and should i just then stick to barbarian or would further multiclassing be better?

I went barbarian at1, druid at2/3. Then barbarian at 4/5. This gets you barbarian3/druid2 at level 5. After this you can go to barbarian 5 to get extra attack and be good with direwolf or go druid6 to get polar bear or saber toothed tiger. Shoot for barb5/druid6+. If you get to 20th level barb5/druid15 gets you a brontosaurus that can attack twice.
