Nintendo's Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is a simulation game that launched recently on iOS and Android. It is free-to-play with IAPs.
The game is definitely scaled back compared to the console Animal Crossing games, but it does contain a lot of gameplay elements from the main series, and I think it does a good job capturing the feel of the franchise. Normally I'm not a fan of freemium games. However, I think the AC is a good fit for the free-to-play model: the console AC games contain a lot of things that you have to wait a certain amount of real time for, which is a common feature of f2p games.
Is anyone else here playing this game? What do y'all think?
