What is the familiar the war mage has in Xanathar guide?

On page 59 of Xanathar's guide there is an image of the War Mage with a long hair golden looking "familiar". Does anyone know what it is?

It could be, but don't forget that a familiar is spirit, and can be Celestial, Fae or Infernal at you choice.
It could be a Fae Cat, or a Fae Almiraj (unicorn rabbit), but you can make it look like you wish.

I have an Infernal Owl named HOOT! who sits on my shoulder and looms menacingly.
Which is odd, cus my character is not evil or in anyway and edgelord.
