Minefield
4th-level conjuration
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 180 feet
Components: V, S, M (the swim bladder of a shark)
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute
You create up to 5 magical bombs within range at unoccupied locations that you can see. Each bomb is a 1 foot diameter sphere that glows brilliantly, shedding bright light in 10 feet around it, and dim light for an additional 10 feet. The bombs float 5 feet from the ground, bobbing up and down slowly.
If 10 or more damage is dealt to a bomb as part of a single attack, spell, or ability, it will explode. Each bomb has an AC of 10 and automatically fails all saving throws. When a bomb explodes, all targets within 15 feet of the bomb must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 2d10 thunder damage and 2d8 fire damage, or half as much on a successful save. A bomb is also subjected to this damage, making it possible to cause a chain explosion. If a target is subjected to 2 or more exploding bombs at once, they only take the damage from a single bomb.
When the spell ends, all bombs that have not blown up vanish.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, you can create an additional bomb for each spell slot level above 4th.
