Hi all, I am currently building a PC inspired by Mortred the Phantom Assassin (https://dota2.gamepedia.com/Phantom_Assassin).

I'd like to make him/her a swordsage specialized in the Shadow Hand because this can give concealment and some nice blink out of the shadows.

I haven't chosen the race yet, leaning towards human for obvious reasons, or snow elf.
I know for sure it'll be a shadow creature (LoM), as I have access to LA buyout or some sort of spreading the bonuses over the levels.

What I'm actually tryong to bring to the table is a PC who:

can blink (like shadow jaunt or shadowstep or just disappearing and appearing next to a target)
have some sort of concealment and can make enemies miss
have some crit potential (big crits like x4 or lots of small x2 crits)

I can dip 1-2 levels into fighter for more feats if this is necessary, and I'd like help with feats choosing, maneuvers and stances, magic items. Level 12 is good enough, but if you go over and help me make a full 20-levels build I'll be extremely grateful.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Abrupt jaunt conjuration specialist wizard(with the feat to gain access to the spells of a domain and then who use that spell which gives full bab) with sacred exorcist and dmm persist Or incantatrixe?
You can go Abrupt jaunt conjuration specialist wizard/(thanks to that specie ritual) ethergaunt(use la buyoff each time you get one point of la get levels in prcs until you buy it off then restart taking levels in it)
If you can use la buyoff you can basically gain casting at a higher rate with ethergaunt class.

I've been working on building a few members of the DotA roster as well. I feel like the Telflammar Shadowlord basically completes her, so whatever entry you can find for that class should suffice--there are a few ways of doing it, including Dragonmarks.

It gets free blur (20% miss chance), shadow pounce (full attack after teleporting through shadows), and some nice spells like nondetection, detect scrying, and mislead to play up the aesthetic of being "invisible" on the minimap (or hard to track, being a phantom and all). Pretty contingent on not being in full light, though, so if you're a PC consider how much your DM likes doing things in dungeons and underground versus in the sunlight, on mountains etc.

For a more mundane entry, combine any pounce build (Lion Totem Barbarian 1) with a ring of blinking and some crit focus (Disciple of Dispater). Add a few throwing daggers and you're basically there.

Another blink option (less thematic but more widely applicable) would be to use Blade of Orien, which gets a limited number of free blinks per day that are not restricted to shadows. I used that for Magina, though.

For a swordsage entry, I'd ask your DM if he would allow Shadow Jaunt to qualify you for the shadow jump/dimension door requirement for Telflammar Shadowlord.

That's pretty neat but I don't think my DM will allow ethergaunt PCs or something like that.

This is absoultely perfect, but the prereq are a bit awful. I'll work this out with my DM, maybe we could homerule something just for the sake of roleplaying

Thanks all for the answers!
