PrC focusing on one school of magic

What are some prestige classes that focus on one school of magic along the lines of Unseen Seer focusing on divination, if any?

Master Specialist is an obvious one. Thaumaturgist counts towards conjuration even though it is mostly conjuration abilities and not the school itself.

I am trying to find some interesting ways to focus on a particular school (although no one school specifically).

Initiate of the seven-foil veil is some sort of abjuration specialist.
Abjurant champion too.

Force Missile Mage (Dragon Compendium) focuses on a single spell (magic missile). That's related to, but not exactly, what you're asking for.

Dracolexi (Races of the Dragon) kind of focuses on Power Word spells, which are all Enchantment.

Taking more than one level of Mindbender nerfs any caster due to the lost casting levels. Taking all ten levels makes you a worse Enchanter than just taking Enchanter levels. ONE level of Mindbender is okay, but at that point it's not an Enchanter class, it's just a Telepathy class.

3.5e Alienist nerfs Conjuration by removing most of your best summons. It's significantly worse than base class levels for anyone who cares about summoning.

Elemental Savant nerfs Evocation by forcing you to only use one energy type. It's total garbage for anyone who cares about dealing energy damage.

Master Transmogrifist 10 prevents costs 4 caster levels, which denies the character access to shapechange. In contrast, shapechange is generally better than what Master Transmogrifist offers. MT is not recommended outside of Gestalt.


Here are some alternative ideas:

Illusion: Nightmare Spinner, Shadowcraft Mage

Conjuration: Malconvoker

Enchantment: Dracolexi (for Sorcerers)

Evocation: Silver Pyromancer (use Sacred Exorcist 1 to get Turn Undead)

Transmutation: Fleshwarper

Malconvoker is a more flavorful focused summoner.

Pale master is a focused necromancer class, and pretty good.

Mindbender is very enchantment related class, as is insidious corruptor.

Shadowcraft Mage is the famous illusionist for good reason, and there's also shadowcrafter and the more focused nightmare spinner.

Evocation specialists are frequently bad, like elemental savant, but there are several, like argent savant and master of radiance.

Transmutation is a very broad school, but I would say best typified in something like master transmogrifist.
