Live to age 50... Turtles are usually quite darn long lived lol, i expected 100-200 tbh. :)

Perhaps a new racial feat is in order?

Hold breath means we aren’t looking at desert or island tortoises... no swim speed means not sea turtles...

Semi-aquatic forest and river turtle average lifespan: 20-30 years

So, you're saying that compared to regular turtles, they are more like... teenagers? And mutants, because they are humanoids? And decent monk race? :smallcool:

'you now live to 300' feels like a waste of a feat.

Well, if the tortle themselves feel wrong about the whole impending doom of time thing, perhaps there is a way for them to... Overcome it? Perhaps after a bit of study, some traveling, a few sacrifices here and there... Alright, anyone else want to see a tortle lich?

Which is still very long for an animal their size.

It's not terribly out of line with a lot of the other animal-based races though.

Kenku: 12-60 years
Lizardfolk: 14-60 years
Tabaxi: equivalent to humans
Aarakocra: usually 30 years max
