Hello team. I need some advice on how to make managing all the 'boring stuff' less boring (or, at least, less difficult) for my players.

We've agreed that we'd like to keep track of these minor details for an upcoming campaign, but we've also agreed that we need to make the administration of these variables as straightforward as possible.

Has anyone encountered a simple sheet or table for tracking character details such as money, food, encumbrance, exhaustion, etc...?

Thanks all!

I've not seen an automated tool, but one of my players made this google doc (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1cq3YDzsXertcYpW6-S-3RSdRa10KiFXWAJs8TnrR78U/edit?usp=sharing) that we use in our game. You might save yourself some time if you copy the XP part, at least.

The encumbrance is managed really well by the Clean Sheet on Enworld (http://www.enworld.org/forum/rpgdownloads.php?do=download&downloadid=1086). It's a PDF that's extremely capable, and very configurable.

You can track all your possessions, and it will calculate encumbrance perfectly, even all the money. It even has tricks like putting a * at the end of the item to make it not calculate, for when you have things that you drop at camp and don't carry during the day. It also doubles the carrying capacity for Goliaths and Firbolgs automatically.

It has a ton of space for other notes and information, so you can generally make it what you want otherwise. Our whole table has moved to it.
