So I am planning ahead a bit here regarding my invocation selections and I was just wondering if anyone thought that it is a bad idea to select caustic mire, wall of perilous flame, AND chilling tentacles as invocations?
I am basically using up my feats as I level to get extra invocations, so I have plenty of others such as flee the scene, see the unseen, and other generally useful ones, but as I get to higher levels would these invocations even be worth taking? The idea of having 3 different AOE slow/grapple/redirect invocations that I can spam all day long seems awesome, and caustic mire and wall of perilous flame would work synergistically to do even more damage. Thoughts?
