Would a paladin or warlock still be able to do Divine or Eldritch Smites in an Anti-magic field?

Nope. It's magic, so it doesn't work in a AMF.

If it consumes a spell slot, it is magical and doesn't work in an AMF.

Thanks. This is what I expected to happen, wanted to double check that I haven't been gimping myself in a few Beholder fights.

What about channel divinities?
Limited by the wording of the Anti magic field spell, there is nothing to state that Divine Smite is explicitly affected, as it not a spell, or explicitly magical effect.
