Has anyone seen any examples of the dice to be used in 4th Edition?

I was assuming it would be the standard, but after reading the designer's notes about dragons, I'm not too sure.

The Fighter took down half of the dragons hit points and the dragon was now around 500 hp.

THis was either done with a feat or weapon tactic. Or alot of dice.

Or I read the article wrong.

That's the one.

The fight did not start on round 1. The dragon did not have over 1,000 hit points at the start of the article.

Yeah. I see that now. I still wonder about the dice though. They have never mentioned it that I can see.

The designers seem to be resistant to relating exact mechanics until the system is finished. They do not want to give out misinformation.

The designers have confirmed though that 4E is gonna be d20 based.

I hope there will be more d12s. Lead the way, my dodecahedra, lead the way.

In one of the video presentations, they showed the on-line dice roller and the dice looked like the old familiar ones we know and (maybe) love.

Yes, the dice will stay the same. Though they might have more (or less) uses now.

Sheriff: Please don't start a new thread for every possible new aspect of 4e. Thank you.
