Has anyone played/run a game using Goodman Games’ campaign setting? “Dystopian Hellenistic America in an urban fantasy version of our world (circa the Reagan presidency) where full-contact dungeon crawling is the most popular pay-per-view sport” sounds very cool, but I’d like to tap the forum’s experience before buying.

Played it. Ran it. Enjoyed it. My biggest caution is that there isn’t a lot of setting specific crunch and you can watch some of those ninja challenge shows on Netflix and just add monsters and you are good. There’s a lot more inspiration in Running Man than the entire book line.

My favorite 2 games were a Disney crawl in which they had to run through the magic kingdom and have thematically appropriate fights in different areas, and a Ga/Fl crawl where each state used a local team + some members of their BloodBowl teams that I built as NPCs and let players run (but with rules, like they wouldn’t leave a fallen enemy before performing a coup de grace)
