Rockstar (WW Variant)

It's a big night at the Battle of the Bands. Many famous bands and artists have shown up to play kick-ass music and RAWK out. But as soon as the first band begins to play, the power is cut and the band is killed...by country western fans!!! It's up to the rockers to determine who is a hick in disguise and root them out, before hard rock, metal, punk, and glam is gone for good.

The Roles


Slash (Baner): Slash plays an intense guitar solo all night, the likes of which are not meant for mortals. Or country music. His uber shredding solos can protect one person per night.

Jimi Hendrix (Seer): Jimi Hendrix can use his soulful tunes to ask the mighty gods of rock to reveal to him the role of any player each night.

Bands (Masons): Instead of Masons, Rockstar has Bands. Every player without a special role is in a band. A band consists of 3-5 members who all know each other. Due to this, there are no villagers in Rockstar.

Tex (Alpha Wolf): Tex is a wayward cowboy with some good banjo skills and a 5 gallon hat. Despite being the epitome of country music, every thinks he's too much of a hick to be evil. He is always scried as a random Band Member. He picks the Hicks.

Hicks (Werewolves): The Hicks are...well hicks. Fans of country music, they quest with Tex to kill all that is heavy and badass in the world. Each night they send a message to the narrorator detailing who they'd like to kill.

Texas Techie (Devil): The Texas Techie is a smart guy from way down south. He owns a laptop, and can google search the name of any player determining their role each night.

Roadie (Fool): The Roadie picked up a little guitar skill watching lessons on VH1 and believes he is Jimi Hendrix. He can scry one person a night, with random results.

Sonny and Cher (Lovers): Sonny and Cher were two judges for the battle of the bands competition, and now are fighting to survive. They are always together, and if one dies, so does the other.

Should I join? I mean, this game seems just like my sort of thing, except:

Johnny Cash = win
Guns n' Roses = not win, not even in the slightest. "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" sounded a hell of a lot better as a country song.

Of course, if I get Jimi, I'd have to resist the urge to bust out the old Hendrix zombie...
