How could large druid access the best possible taxi? What is more practical - make self smaller or stag bigger?

A team of 8 phantom stag should do it, as long as your character also starts wearing red.

Seriously, I wish there was a 3.5 update to A&EG. The vehicle enhancement for flying costs 200k. That book charges an arm and a leg for most of the upgrades.

Making yourself smaller is trivial, given that wild shape is near necessarily accessible by this point, and making the stag bigger seems like a total non-object, so I'd have to go with the former on this one.

Aaeg has a collar that turns any creature small. Put one on and ride any creature medium+.
