So the party just got a bag of holding. I am playing a rogue, and I want more ways to help the party overcome obstacles out of combat. Since I am a thief, I don't have access to that much magic, so I am planning on being the guy who always has a piece of equipment that can help with whatever situation the party finds itself in. So I want ideas for what kind of equipment I could buy that would be useful for dungeon exploration and general adventuring. So far, my only ideas are caltrops, a ladder, and lots of rope so any other ideas would be appreciated. (This is 5e by the way)

Not to sound like a tool or anything but depending on your level, and the fact it is only mundane stuff, just buy like 2 of everything.

Add in many extra of the things that are commonly needed like lanterns, pitons, string, torches, cloth, many disguises, various mirrors, glue of some kind, bells, grappling hook, bandages, replacement camping gear, acid, poisons, tindertwigs, playing cards, hell just think up random cheap stuff.

You forgot soap. Never forget soap. It's a lubricant (mundane Freedom of Movement), a mild torture device (applied to the eyes or mouth), can be used for forging keys or to slip people up (mundane Grease). Scented versions can be used to mask a scent (mundane Pass Without Trace). Attach a rope for a non-lethal improvised flail. Carve it into a figurine for fun, profit or voodoo. Cut a wedge and use it to prop a door open. The uses are almost endless!

Oh, you can wash things (or yourself, you filthy adventurer, you) with it too (mundane Prestidigitation?).

And Towel! Blankets might do the trick, but every self-respecting traveler must have a towel with them or they're doomed for sure!

I may have forgotten soap, but I did NOT forget a towel. It's even embroidered with the number 42. You offend me.

Healers Kit (fast hands! yeah!)
Bear Trap(x 3, fast hands again!)
EVERY TOOL KIT (masons, jewlers, tinkerers, blacksmiths, carpenters, etc etc)
Burglars Pack (contents, x 2)
climbers kit (enough for every party member)
Snow shoes (for every party member)
Several 50ft lengths of rope(some tied with knots for easy climbing)
Block and Tackle
several lengths of steel cable/chain
manacles (five sets)
assorted spare weaponry (silvered is best, not essential, 1 per party member)
LOTS of spare ammo.
Barrel of;
Holy Water
Water
Oil
Wine/ale
Dried food stuffs
Several padlocks, some with and without keys.
Oilskin Tarp x3

the tool kits are going to give you alot of stuff, including paper, quil, ink, incense, book, chizels, hammers, cooking pot, chalk, sextant, vials, beakers... and more besides.

assuming you have good investigation, the 10' pole may not necessary, but could still prove useful.
