That scorching ray does not looks like one(it looks more like a fire orb).
Unless in dnd 5e they decided that scorching ray would look like everything expect like a ray.

I know, right? But I like how the setting actually imposes restrictions on casters that prevent them being overpowered. They have to stand still to cast, have to come up with their own incantations (which can be pretty long in some cases), and require ammunition (in the form of the mummified remains of dead wizards). Plus having to lug around a heavy weapon everywhere they go. It's a really good show.

...that is never addressed. Though there is an alternative source of ammo: a wizard can burn their own memories as fuel. Obviously that's a last resort (cough plot device cough), since you can't choose which memories you lose and doing it too much leaves you completely brain-dead.
So... yeah.

I would make your Hold Person my Levitate, and your Levitate my Telekinesis. Otherwise, that's quite an impressive and thematic list. I wasn't even aware of this anime, and now I want to check it out. How many episodes is it?

I was on the fence about both of those to be honest, so I won't disagree.

The anime is two seasons of 12no 23-minute episodes each (so 9.2 hours total). All of these gifs are from either the first 6 episodes of season 1 or the first 3 of season 2 (since I couldn't be bothered to process any more). Also, it's got some of best intro/outro themes of any anime I've seen - I'd almost recommend it for that alone!
