So for those of you familiar with 3.5, this is a throwback to the bardic music of 3.5.

Bardic College of Song:
3 Seeker of the Song:
You pursue the songs of the bards of old to heighten your own abilities. As an action you may expend a bardic inspiration die to start one of the songs below. Each song until the end of your next turn, and requires concentration to maintain. On subsequent turns you may continue the song by expending another use of bardic inspiration die as a bonus action.

Song of Courage:
Roll the die when you start this song. Whenever an ally within 30ft of you that can hear the song makes a saving throw to avoid being frightned or charmed they add the number rolled to the result.

Song of Fascination:
When you start this song, choose a creature within 30ft of you. The creature must make a charisma saving throw against your spell save dc or be charmed by you until you quit singing. While charmed in this way, the creature sits quietly and listens to the bard play, taking no other actions. Any obvious threat, such as someone drawing a weapon, casting a spell, or aiming a ranged weapon at the target, automatically breaks the effect.

Song of Greatness:
Roll the die when you start this song. Whenever an ally within 30ft of you that can hear the song deals weapon damage to a creature they can increase the damage by the amount rolled.

Song of Freedom:
Roll the die when you start this song. Whenever an ally within 30ft of you that can hear the song makes a saving throw or ability check to avoid restrained or grappled or paralyzed they add the number rolled to the result.

3 Acapella:
Your voice is as powerful as the strongest of symphonies. You can replace the material component of any bard spell with a vocal componenet so long as the material component doesn't have a cost. If it already has a vocal componenet the material component is simply removed.

6 Countersong:
You learn to disrupt spellcasting using your voice. You learn Counterspell and it counts as a bard spell for you, but it does not count towards your number of spells known. Additionally, when you are forced to make an ability check as the result of casting counterspell, you may choose to expend a die of bardic inspiration and add the number rolled to the result of your ability check required for the spell.

14 Sustained Refrain:
You learn to sustain you bardic songs with ease. Anytime you are concentrating on a song gained from the Seeker of the Song ability you may maintain the song without spending a bardic inspiration die.

Please let me know what you think.

This subclass almost seems fine to me, but, I have one huge issue with it.

Some material components cost gold pieces. As hilarious as your singing being worth the expensive diamonds used to resurrect someone, it's pretty overpowered to do so. It should say "you can replace the material component of any bard spell that doesn't have a cost with a vocal component."
