So I bought Two Worlds... Lemme just give you an hour by hour look in to my experience.
Hour 0: BOUT TIME!!!!! (Xbox Humming) yay!
Hour 1: What The %&*$ is this (insert more swearing here.)
Hour 2: Grumble, might as well keep playing.
Hours 3 4 and 5: Ehhh.
So Honestly The game is absolutely horrible, the graphics are passable, the voice acting is literally the worst ive ever seen in a game. And the combat is just hack and slash.
And yet.....
I must say so far I have truly enjoyed this game. It is bad, yes. But it is just good clean Rpg fun with a great storyline Without all the flashy effects and gimmicks. I will report more when i get farther. Any other opinions?

Not the SOTN, surely?!?!?!!? :smallannoyed:
Seriously people, type things out. Type all acronyms out, just to be safe. Not everyone has the same specialist knowledge you have.

Typed the acronym in google, and I overwhelmingly got Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Dunno if it has bad voice acting though, as I've never played it.

I've seen a lot of hate for this game, but I think it's actually really good. So, after reading one too many Reader Reviews at IGN, I feel compelled to do a point by point evaluation, poorly organized and largely for my own benefit :) :
Voice Acting: Bad, yes. But you get used to it after a while. An interesting note is that the game uses "Shakespearean" wording, such as perchance, mayhap, etc., which adds some extra flavor to the dialog.
Music: Good and enjoyable. Some may find the main menu's music annoying.
Graphics: Good except for character models. Humanoids (specifically faces, and clothing to a lesser extent) are the only thing the graphics engine doesn't present well. However, armor, lighting, and environments are all great. Considering the camera angle, the only time that faces are focused on is dialog, so this problem is only annoying at first, in my opinion. People who complain that the graphics are like "washed-out Morrowind" or "a PS1 game" should report to the nearest optometrist immediately to have their eyes checked for partial blindness.
Story/World: The main story is somewhat generic, but the world is actually refreshing. It was different enough from "the norm" to make it interesting. Little information about the world is presented in the manual (and RPG book with the collector's edition), so most of the learning about the world is done through experiencing it. The game is incredibly freeform, and unlike Oblivion, I feel encouraged to explore the game world. Enemies do not scale, but are placed as in a MMO, giving each area a difficulty. Areas feel distinctly different from one another.
Character: In single player, you can only be a male human, and your background is predetermined (bounty hunter). This was a sore point of mine at first, but I got over it, as it allows the game to tie to your character better. The skills are quite interesting with distinct tactical usages. This game is hack-n-slash, yes, but the skills give the player useful options. Inventories rapidly change; you should get a new, distinct something to use every couple of fights, not just something to sell.
Multiplayer: The multiplayer tends to lag. I've only played it on co-op with a friend, so I don't know how well it tends to hold up at higher numbers or on PvP. Co-op is enjoyable, and plays somewhat like Diablo 2 with a generic kill, loot, rinse, and repeat method. There are only two races in multiplayer (Elf and Human) and several classes, although it should be noted that Two Worlds is a largely classless game. You only have to buy a skill to put points in it.
Closing Thoughts: Two Worlds does not play like Oblivion. If you are looking for Elder Scrolls 4.5, you may not like this game. The game, overall, reminds me of a very freeform (at Elder Scrolls levels) version of Diablo 2 in gameplay and combat, with slightly more tactical options. I genuinely enjoy the game, and recommend it. However, the game has a few faults, most notably the graphics on the faces, minor lag, and an extremely bad start considering the rest of the game*, but do not let these discourage you from atleast renting it. If I were to give it a score between 1 and 10, it'd probably get an 8.25ish.
*Do note that most of the bad player reviews appearing have only played the first few hours.

The one thing about the Character is the creation is really bad. Not very many options but you get over that quickly. Also Online with 4 or less isnt very laggy if you all have good connections. Like the review said it is a really fun game, but with some faults.
