Ahoy mateys!

Will be playing a rogue/swashbuckler pirate in the next adventure. It'll be set in Eberron, in the Lazhar principalities.

My DM gave us two feats from background: one is Apprentice and the other one is the Least dragonmark one.

We'll be level 5 and at 6 I'll get Daring Outlaw. Already taken Two weapon fighting.

Do you have any idea for some feats that are pirate-esque? Even if they are not strong, just for flavor.
Thanks

Do you have access storm wreck? It is the sea book for D & D , the only feat that might fit is sea leg when on a boat +2 tumble, balance, and + 1 initiative.

You could take the additional traits feat and get these two traits. They seem pretty piratey.

Pretty sure that OP is playing D&D and not PF.

Not feats, but take a look at the skill tricks in Complete Scoundrel, particularly the ones that use Balance, Climb, and Tumble.

Consider using a race of water or race of air (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/races/elementalRacialVariants.htm) in UA (swim speed, or no need to breathe/can't drown).

For Dragonmark info, take a look at this thread: http://minmaxforum.com/index.php?topic=1072.0

Dragonmarks can be quite good and very thematic, so you might want to consider putting 5 levels into Dragonmark Heir, or taking one of the more specific Dragonmark prestige classes.

Orien (Mark of Passage) and Lyrandar (Mark of Storm) seem like good Dragonmarked Houses for a pirate, with the Blade of Orien class in particular being a stand-out for a magical swashbuckler. It's 10 levels, though, so you might not want to go Daring Outlaw if you go for Blade of Orien.

Dragonmark Heir is only 5 levels, so you could mix it with Swashbuckler.

Storm Sentry is only 5 levels, and it's full BAB, but it's got several features which focus on improving your gust of wind ability, and that ability is only great if you expect to face mostly Medium, Small, and smaller foes. So if you're going to be dealing with Humanoids, it's a solid class -- but if you're going to be robbing Giants / Dragons / etc., then it's probably not the best choice.

If you have access to Dragon magazines:
#315 - Audacious Attempt [ancestor] feat: "You are descended from a notorious pirate, and you share that ancestor's incredible audacity." 1/encounter, when toy will need to roll 20 on d20 to succeed, you may roll extra d6 and add result to your d20 roll
#318 - Graft Flesh (pirate) - to attach hooks, peglegs, and so on. Article have a number of "piratic" grafts
#323 - "Mastery of Sand and Seas" article have Pirate Luck, Polyglot, Savvy Swimmer, Shipborn, and Sailor Will
#350 - "Savage Tidings – Journey to the Isle of Dread" have Vohoun Eye [regional] feat - it allow to use free action Sense Motive check to recognize school of magic for spell being casted and get +2 on saving throw if successful (the region is Pirate Isles)

Stormwrack is the main book for all naval-related stuff. From this, besides aforementioned, there are such feats as Old Salt (+1 bonus on Balance, Profession (sailor), Use Rope; predict weather), and Scourge of the Seas (Intimidate other ships with your sinister reputation)

Yes, we play 3.5, and i have the Storm mark of the Lyrandar. I'll see if my DM is benevolent enough for considering Dragon Magazine, or I'll watch something on the Complete Scoundrel.

Anyaway thanks all for the answers!
