As we all know (or should know at this point), the Gloomstalker is a terrifying foe while in darkness. I am currently looking for fun things to combine it with, and have come across the trickster domains invoke duplicity.
We can probably agree that class features do not apply automatically to an illusion of yourself- could you have a duplicate visible to an enemy with darkvision, while you yourself disappear into the darkness?
