Spiritual Weapon question

Does spiritual weapon let you attack twice with it in the same round? Or, is it one melee weapon attack and
then move the spiritual weapon and attack with it?

The second option. You can make a melee attack (or cast an attack cantrip) with your action, and move & attack with the spiritual weapon with your bonus action.

The spiritual weapon does not get 2 attacks in a single turn.

Spiritual weapon allows you to attack with it as part of your casting action.

In the next rounds you can use your bonus action to move it and attack again. Then with your action you can cast a different spell or attack.

You cannot attack with spiritual weapon twice in a round ever

Using Spiritual Weapon requires expenditure of your bonus action. So unless you have found a way to get more then 1 bonus action during a round or turn, no, you cannot use it to attack twice in one round/turn.

You use your bonus action to move and make a single attack with the spiritual weapon.

Your action can be used as normal to make a melee/ranged weapon attack, or cast a spell etc. But you cannot use your action to attack a second time with the spiritual weapon.
