Starfinder Help: Trying to stat my players' crewmembers

I'm trying to create NPCs that fill roles like, for example, a non-magical medical officer intended to stay out of combat entirely.
I cannot figure out which of the main classes to use, and it doesn't seem like starfinder has npc classes.

I'm a stickler for having everything important statted out.

Just stat them out as specialist NPCs of appropriate CR.

Starfinder's built on a very different assumption than Pathfinder. In Starfinder, Classes only represent characters who are likely to adventure, just like in 5E. They aren't all-encompassing like in Pathfinder where everyone has a class or two.

Check the medicine skill to find out what skill bonus you want the medic to have. Then pick a non-soldier npc with a skill of that bonus and rejigger all the skills around.

Also check if the npc ends up a bunch of levels higher than the players, the medicine DCs are a bit high.
