Obviously, bird is the word.

More seriously, has anyone heard any new rumblings about psionics for this edition? Just curious as to the progress on getting that info out to the world.

STUN.

But no, haven't heard anything on Psionics past the last UA sadly.

At least with Xanathar’s we have:
Shadow Blade, Synaptic Static and the head poppin’ awesomeness of psychic scream!

You're all being ridiculous.

GREASE is clearly the word.

What other word has both groove AND meaning?

I was under the impression that the rules for psionics were just that spell slots counted as psion points.

Bird!

That's right: power word Bird.

I have no clue what it does.

And I don't know anything about psionics in 5e, except that the mystic is unnecessarily complicated.

I heard they came to their senses and scrapped psionics for all time.

A big bundle of psionic themed spells & subclasses coupled with the Spell Point DMG variant would probably get you 80% of the way there though.

This caught my eye:

"Mystic, Artificer and Revised Ranger are upcoming"

and

"D&D is now the most popular it has ever been since the 1980s"

Presumably the "Mystic" will come with Psionic rules.

Another reason you'll hear clamour for Eberron is that it integrates psionics into the setting without it being necessary. Including the mystic in an Eberron book would be the easiest way to introduce it. Then Dark Sun can build on (and balance) that so it's on par.

Folk, folks. You are wrong. Mums the word

Shouldn't that have an apostrophe?

Mum's the word?
Appropriate, because WOTC is keeping mostly "mum" about psionics.

I fixed it :) Grammar eludes me sometimes before coffee.
