So I made a class called Cloner (https://docs.google.com/document/d/14Q857eDWlZ3pcy8a891kFzd-1T7oJVwVenUr18jEUVQ/edit?usp=sharing)... Over a year ago, I think.

And I never posted it here.

So, have at it!

By "Made" you of course mean "Gratuitously stole and updated to 5e". :smalltongue:

Anyway... the main thing the cloner had going for it back in 3.5 was the massive numbers advantage, but this one hasn't got that so much, and anyway the reduced hit points will probably make you susceptible to being one-shotted by area spells.

Absorption is weird because it restores your maximum HP to normal even if you spit out several clones and only absorb one back.

Honestly it seems kinda weak, even for 5e. You have so few hit points that you can't really make a wall of tanks, and you have so few things that you're good at that it's kinda pointless. At best, you can go for an odd glass-cannon-tucker's-kobolds kind of thing, but that doesn't really mesh well with a standard party.

Did math. Realized this class was woefully weak.

Added subclasses-hopefully it's better now.
