Photoshoped Fancy Critters

Hello Playground,

I'm a long time photoshop hobbyist and I've gotten in a strange habit of photoshopping pets into various fancy vistas and outfits.

It's a suitably weird and surprisingly enjoyable hobby. I've started to post my pet photoshops online, but I've run into a bit of problem: I'm running out of pets to photoshop.

Do you have a furry creature that you would like to see fancified? If you do, just link me to a pic or PM me a link to one or a few good pictures and I create a photoshopped image that draws out their refined nature.

I don't normally do black and white, but this cat had a kind of Victorian Era feel, so I dove full in with steampunk and Sherlock Holmes themes. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out =)

This is only a tiny fraction of the final image.

While I didn't have time to do everything I wanted with the full image, I feel like I captured the mix of modern and retro (pre-1960s) sci-fi vibe that I was going for. Very happy with how this one turned out.

The image is a little bit large, which was both a boon and curse during production. Below is a shrunken version of the image.

Next time I will remember to do the shrinking *before* editing as it made GIMP lag pretty hard. I also need to do some research into speeding up GIMP: it never consumed more than 30% of system resources throughout the process. I need to figure out a way to make it really go!
