OotS and 4E

OMG will Rich switch to 4th Edition. I hope not. The comc has a nice tone in 3.5 E and the lack of Gnomes and Half-Orcs in 4E may require a re-worked plot. If so, Thog, we will always remember you.

I think he might. After all, the first few comics covered a switch to 3.5E. Perhaps they'll use the new rules to gain an upperhand in an important battle.

Oh, and my understanding is that they're getting rid of either Half-Orcs or Gnomes, not both. My guess would be Half-Orcs, as they're already considered a bit sub-par. I'd think Orcs would become a common race, though, if that happened.

why should they remove them? whats the problem with balancing them out with the other races (while i havent heard of gnomes being unbalanced in any way)?

They cannot remove half-orcs! This is blasphemy! This is madness!
