Class Features
All of the following are Class Features of the Eldritch Songweaver prestige class.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency:Eldritch Songweaver's gain no proficiency with any weapon or armor.
Spells Per Day:When a new Eldritch Songweaver level is gained, on every odd level, the Eldritch Songweaver gains new spells per day/invocations as if he had gained a level in both the bard and warlock classes. He does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. This essentially means that he adds the level of Eldritch Songweaver to the level of Bard and Warlock the character has, then determines spells per day and caster level accordingly. On every even level the Eldritch Songweaver must choose whether to advance Invocations or Bardic Spellcasting.
Bardic Music:Levels in Eldritch Songweaver stack with levels in Bard for determining songs per day and what songs are accessible.
Harmonic Invocation:At the levels indicated on the above table, an Eldritch Songweaver gains access to a Harmonic Invocation. In order to use a Harmonic Invocation, an Eldritch Songweaver must expend a number of daily bardic music uses as indicated below.
Energy Substitution (Sonic):1 music use
Supersonic Blast, Empower:2 music uses
Maximize:3 music uses
Quicken:4 music uses
Most Harmonic Invocations mimic the metamagic of the same name, Supersonic blast is applied to the Eldritch Songweaver's Eldritch Blast and changes the damage type to Sonic, in addition it adds 2D6 damage to the blast and the target must make a fort save (DC=10+Eldritch Songweaver level+Cha) or be deafened.
Eldritch Song:An Eldritch Song is for all effects and purposes a use of bardic music. They simply represent new options.
Eldritch Song (Fear):At 3rd level an Eldritch Songweaver gains the power to strike fear into the hearts of their foes with a song. Treat as the spell Fear targeting all enemies within hearing range (DC=10+Eldritch Songweaver level+Cha) and a duration equal to your level in Eldritch Songweaver.
Eldritch Song (Warped Perception):At 9th level an Eldritch Songweaver gains the power to warp the perceptions of their foes with a song. Treat as the spell Confusion targeting all enemies within hearing range (DC=10+Eldritch Songweaver level+Cha) and a duration equal to your level in Eldritch Songweaver.

Instead of just using Bardic Music to power Metamagic for Invocations (and really, there shouldn't be a Silent option there for so many reasons), couldn't there be some more devious effects for bardic music? Being able to frighten a creature with Bardic music, etc.

Also, consistently, it would be +1 level of Invoking Class for the "Spells per Day", which by its very wording progresses both Invocations known and Eldritch Blast damage thanks to errata.

Oh, and namewise? Eldritch Songweaver, Fellsong, Dark Musician...

ah, that clears some stuff up then, thanks. I'll go about editing it.

As for other abilities, I couldn't remember whether invocations even needed gestures or verbal components, I'll just scrap those and add in two new song effects.

Hmm...it does bring up another question: can one use the Harmonic Invocations on Invocations? By phrasing, you could use a Sonic Wall of Perilous Fire or the like.

That was the intent, the harmonic abilities are meant for your invocations, other than supersonic blast.

Edit:So you'd get get a wall of "ARGH, my ears are bleeding!"

This PrC is looking like making a Bard a Blaster... you can do something so much more... devious...

Fell Lyricist

Fell Music
Each use of Fell Music counts as Bardic Music for all intents and purposes. All Fell Music uses are Sonic (read: cannot be used while silenced) and Mind-Affecting, although not necessarily language dependent. Will saves are Cha based. Level-dependent effects are Bard + Warlock + Fell Lyricist levels. All uses of Fell Music can only affect a maximum number of opponents equal to class level. All Fell Music effects which have a duration last for concentration+class level rounds.

Counter-rally - 1st level
This song is done in response to an opponent trying to raise the morale of their people. It negates all morale bonuses on all affected targets.

Song of Woe - 2nd level
This song produces a dischordant melody which brings forth unpleasant memories, demoralizing the opponents. Opponents who fail their save get a morale penalty to their attack rolls and saving throws equal to half the Fell Lyricist's class level, round up.

Song of Apathy - 4th
This song produces a sorrowful melody which clouds their reasons for fighting in the first place. This is a Slow effect on all opponents who fail their save.

Song of Terror - 6th
This song is a haunting tune which strikes fear into the hearts of opponents. All who fail their save increase their fear by one step, which stacks with any other fear effects which might be affecting them.

Song of Insanity - 8th
This twisted tune disturbs and confuses people. Treat as a Confusion effect for those who fail their save.

And then the invocations...

Invoke Music
The Fell Lyricist gains this free minor invocation. He can increase the DC of the saving throw of his next Fell Music use within one round by a number of points equal to his Eldrich Bursts number of d6.

disharmonic invocation
The Fell Lyricist can blow a Bardic Music use to increase the DC on the next Invocation he uses, or to increase the ability to penetrate SR, by half his class level.

Disharmonic Focus
If the Fell Lyricist makes a performance check as part of the invocation, he can increase the DC of the Invocation by 2.

I like it. thought it kind of reminds me of a mini cartoon that was ran during dexter labatory, I forget the name, but the main characters were a purple hulk, a weird version of captain america, and the Guitar playing guy, that is were it reminds of the show. Does the eldritch blast come out from the guitar?

You're thinking of Justice Pals, with the Viking God of Rock.

And am I the only one who thinks that the only thing left to be completely amazing would be an Eldritch Shape Invocation ala Eldritch Glaive that turns your blast into a functional guitar formed from mystical energy?

what would be even cooler is an epic lvl Bard, Soulknife, Barbarian who uses his greatax as a guitar, and after entering rage, breaks it from the force of his cord, then reforming it from his mind. (while technical impossible, it would be so awesome.)

Looks nice... one question: Perform(guitar)? Why that specific, especially on an instrument that is more modern than many settings? Perhaps Perform(any instrument) would be better.

A guitar seemed fitting for a bard/warlock. The instrument required could always be changed if you intend to use it, it's just there to limit entry to 6th level and up.
