it´s a different thing because if he doesn´t give any explanation for a strip interval > 1 week, he might as well be very sick, who knows, but now the day is set and things doesn´t look that bad according to the last few strips

Being honest some people do not care how long you take just so if you decide to come back make sure you can actually keep on schedule otherwise the break never had really mattered.
