does the ability to cast a SLA also grant that you are an arcane or divine caster of a certain level for the purproses of meeting a pre-req on a feat?

I can't find a specific ruling on it in all the various places I've looked..

I think one can rule this as a "no" simply from the amount of text Complete Arcane hass explaining that Warlocks do have an arcane caster level despite not casting any spells.

In general, being arcane or divine is a property of spells, not spell-like abilities.

Complete Arcane goes into detail on this subject.

A SLA gives you a CL that is neither arcane not divine (discounting warlocks and DFAs who are both arcane).

A SLA does not qualify you for anything requiring the capacity to cast spells of X level even if the spell mimicked is of the appropriate level on any/all spell lists.

A SLA does qualify you if the requirement is for the specific spell mimicked.

That's it.
