A Final Fantasy Parody of Dungeons and Dragons. Really funny, and well made. Hope you enjoy!
P.S. - I hope I *never* have a group this bad. Ever.

You shouldn't, because that's a parody. An annoying one with a horrible job of lip synching, at that.

Ah, I remember this parody...only I've never seen this video clip for it.

Yeah, that group? I've DMed for nearly identical people. Actually, they might have been worse...

I originally saw (or heard) that audio clip in an old 8-Bit Theater video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHdXG2gV01k)several years ago. One of my co-players said that the audio is taken from something else but I can neither confirm nor deny that (based in the 20 seconds I spent searching).

GJ. Now I have "Hey Jude" stuck in my head...Not that I'm complaining.

It's a popular comedy routine by the Dead Ale Wives. It's a true classic.

I actually like THIS (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8Rop4Zt-S0&mode=related&search=) one better actually.

THIS (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHdXG2gV01k&mode=related&search=) one is also a good one, as someone else mentioned before.

I heard this a while ago. Funny stuff. I just minimized the screen and listened to it.

I had forgotten about that one. It and the 8-bit still crack me up.

Thank you! The Wikipedia page on the Dead Ale Wives' D&D skit has a link to an audio sequel (http://www.rpgmp3.com/downloads/data/av-deadalewives-dnd-part-2-stream.mp3) of the original skit. Capital!

And while we're on the subject of D&D comedy (and just in case there are folks in the playground who haven't seen it yet), here's the "Mercy? You want mercy?! I'M CHAOTIC NEUTRAL!" clip (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7521044027821122670) that made the rounds awhile ago. It's a bit long but has some classic lines in it.

I've had worse groups.

Meh. Not very funny...the 8-bit rendition is much better.

I completely agree (http://www.cybermoonstudios.com/8bitDandD.html).

Ah, good old Dead Ale Wives DND Sketch. I've seen the 8-bit one ages ago, and I think this one is indeed the funniest video for this. The Advent Children one is not far away, though - it's also hilarious. The Summoner one is pretty bad - very static, the only funny moment was when it turned out that the elf's player looks so out-of-place in the whole thing.

Oh, here's part two - only sound, but I've seen an animated version somewhere too.

Needless to say, due to these movies, in 8-bit Theater Fighter will always sound like Nightblade, Black Mage like Ghoulstaff, Thief like Picard and Red Mage like the DM, to me.
