So I did some calculations for this drawback for a skald.
I'm assuming that every talent cast cost 1 spell point and is used at maximum caster level.
I also assume that if you have diehard as a feat the point where you go unconscious gets moved to the point where you would die from normal damage.
The character starts with 18 con and uses automatic bonus progression to get con increases as fast as he can.
I calculate the medium Hp of 4.5 from HD each level.
The character I have extra spell points from 4 drawbacks. this gives 1 +1 for 1.5 caster level. 14 in total. instead of this, i use the caster level progression of a mid caster 75%. This gives in total 15 spell points and would make more sense.
List of assumed drawbacks
Galvanized
Magical Signs
Painful Magic
Somatic Casting
Verbal Casting
Draining Casting
Con is also the casting stat and the con score is only in even number to make it simpler.

So without diehard, you will lose from 25% of your hp to 58%
With diehard, you will lose 17 to 53% of your hp.
You take the damage when you cast spells. So I recommend casting as few as possible. With talents like mass Restore and similar.
I also recommend lowering the casting level of spells that have no or low scaling. For example Revitalize.
