Psionics - Project Image and Detect Evil

I had a group that did a Detect Evil on a Projected Image. Would a Projected Image be able to be sensed as an evil creature since it's illusion. We use Transparency rules btw.

Detect Evil can detect evil spells. If the person casting the projected image spells is very evil, this might affect his spell allowing it to be detected. If he's just your common garden variety 'looking out for number one' evil, that won't affect his spell and it can't be sensed.

That's how I'd rule it anyway. Pure RAW, they won't be able to sense the spell unless the caster has some kind of feature that adds the [evil] tag to it.

No. A Projected Image isn't an [evil] power/spell, and it's not any kind of creature, so there's nothing for Detect Evil to pick up on.

And actually, if they know that the person they're seeing is evil, detect evil not registering could even tip them off that they're viewing an illusion instead of the real thing!
