If you were any animal in any book (besides human) what would you be? I'm all up for wild cat in Warriors The New Prophecy Book 6.

If I were not of the human race, something else I'd like to be? If I were not of the human race, a window cleaner me! With a rubba-dub-dub and a scrubba-dub-dub and a rubba-dub-dub all day long! With a rubba-dub-dub and a scrubba-dub-dub I'd sing this merry song!

Wait, window cleaners are people too?

Oh... Um... Maybe a Panserbjørne from His Dark Materials. They're kewl, although the degree to which they are animals is debatable.

...

DRAGONS!

Or do the animals have to exist on earth? That would take some thinking about as there are many awesome species.

That's a hard one...

Spider would be fun. Crawling around, spying on people, and such. Although there's the occupational hazard of being squished...

Cats would be fun as well. Sitting and sleeping all day.

Dragon would be awesome as well. But that might not count as an animal...<.<

Can dragons swim? It would be awesome to be a critter that could fly and swim and snooze on warm rocks. Maybe a dire puffin . . .

Depends on the mythology. Some dragons live in rivers in Chinese mythology so I would think yes.

I'd really go with typical D&D Red Dragon.

...I'd be a lizard of some sort, or a dog or wolf, or maybe a whale...

Dragon.

Or maybe a Crocodile(or how you want to spell it in English), Nice being lazy in the water and having a Deer as snack from time to time.

I'd be a sloth. Those guys are awesome...

I'd be a sloth. Those guys are awesome...

Ditto. Any creature that sleeps for 14+ hours a day and grins like that (http://sloths.org/asloth.html) all the time definitely knows something we don't. :smallcool:

Definately a cat. Seriously, people feed you, clean up your crap for you, and pet you. All this any you can sleep whenever you want. How awesome would that be?

Hmmm... any animal? In any book? Definately a dragon! If they count as animals! Otherwise, anything that can fly and is not an insect! (This includes fishes... they "fly" underwater, right?!)

A cat. Perhaps even a paragon celestial cat. But a cat, nonetheless.

Edit: On second thought, perhaps a huskie instead - for the same reasons.

I'd definitely be a bird of some description, most likely a penguin. Kestrel or hummingbird would be possibilities as well.

Oooohh, Panserbjørne...They are indeed awesome. And not partially/fully mindless, which would be the main issue for me with most animals :smalleek:

I can see Dragon, except for the whole "oh crap I'm 40 feet long, can't really fit through that door" thing...

Perhaps Rakshasa. I particularly like them, and in an old 1st edition campaign I have an extremely awesome Rakshasa character.

Various ideas:

Pickachu; people would just be so shocked. In all senses of the word.

That flying bison thingy (in Avatar); heeheheheheheheheee, fear my enormous weight puny humans!

Mew; another pokemon I admit, but unlimited telekinesis.

D&D Silver Dragon; gorgeous, and extremely cool.

Scorpina

I'd be a kitty. Or maybe a scorpion. Or a stately raven...

I would be Khorne. Or a kitty.

Well, I doubt you were thinking of specific animals when you made this up, but I would definitely want to be Mr. Jingles the mouse from The Green Mile by Stephen King. A nearly immortal mouse that gets petted by big people and given all the food I need? I don't care if I die at the end of the book! I die a happy death!

Koala. 22 hours of sleep. Actually, a Paragon uber-koala.

Ditto, the pokemon. Transform into anything you like. Kewwwlllll :smallcool:

I thought they could only change into whatever Pokémon they happened to be fighting?

Jibar
2007-09-02, 09:46 AM
Well. I'm screwed then, because I'm already a Cat-Muffin.

Koala. 22 hours of sleep. Actually, a Paragon uber-koala.

Oh yeah, tell me about it. I let them have nap, then as soon as they're awake I turn around for one second and they eat all the ice cream and eucalyptus and pissed all over the outer wall.
Do you know how hard it is to clean soggy cardboard? And it's not like I can get the koalas to help, because they're already asleep again! Now isn't that a cowinkydink!

Y'all could just be a cat, for the sake of argument.

But... but... the muffin contains all the tastiest parts of creation. Like chocolate, human flesh, sentience and the abstract concept of existence.

Scorpina
2007-09-02, 10:07 AM
...yes, but do you really want to be so tasty? I mean, it's just asking for trouble.
