Hello GitP it's been a while for me! So I'm about to hop in a campaign with some friends that from my understanding is like a really over the top game, the party is artificer, druid, hulking hurler, bard, and one other I cant think of. But anyways it's basically just about anything goes, and I dont really want to show up with a weak build, but I also want to have fun. Anyways! It's a 3.p so what I was thinking was a zhentarim skymage with perhaps the path of war stance that allows you to dual wield lances. Sorcerer seems the best best for cha synergy but I'm obv open to wziad. I'm just wondering what the optimal way to go about this is. Should I go the persistomancer and heroics martial stance (not positive if that even works) or maybe take a dip in a class. I'm leaning towards persisto because I'm obviously going to be getting in there and need the tools to survive, but anyways , any tips are welcome.
