If you've not heard that we're doing a Linear Guild game, then this news won't affect you terribly.

At the GAMA Trade Show earlier this year we announced that a Linear Guild stand-alone expansion game would be available this fall. The game is still in development and we've had some cool new ideas that will push the game out into next year. No firm date yet.

For more details, see our news release on apegames.com (http://www.apegames.com).

What does 'stand-alone expansion' mean exactly?

I'd think it's somewhat like what Guild Wars has in place.

You can play the expansion alone, or play it with stuff from the first game. In other words, it does not require the previous OotS game to play.

does that means there will be two games? the normal and the one with the expansion? or we could buy the expansion apart?

The stand alone expansion means that it is an expansion to the previous version of the game but it is not necessary to have the previous version in order to play the expansion. In other words you can buy only the linear guild game and be able to play without the order of the stick dungeon of dorukan game. At least that is what I understand by the stand alone expansion. Also the linear guild game will be an expansion as we all now which means that we will be able to combine both games into one super game!
